Since his graduate degree and past associations had a strong Israeli concentration, the transition was beseder.

Rabbi Roi had worked with the Israeli government for 12 years in the Defense Mission to the United States and was instrumental in obtaining millions of dollars of contracts that helped employ the incoming Russian immigrants. He studied under renowned Rabbi and Professor Meyer Cohen of Hebrew University in which he grew a wonderful relationship. He sought and received the blessing from his father, spiritual leaders that he was ordained in Jewish Ministry of the Assemblies of G-d, and the Messianic Jewish Alliance (MJAA), the largest Messianic Organization in the World to begin his fellowship.
Many of the congregants came from the Hebrew Classes conducted in conjunction with the local universities and also a drive of door to door witnessing in the community. Other heard the fellowship from the radio and television appearance about Messianic Judaism. A few came from a dissolved fellowship that was pastored by Dale Cohen, also ordained with the Assemblies of G-d with Jewish Ministry. Pastor Cohen, left to minister full time in Messianic Ministry, and gave his blessing for those to come and assembly with Baruch Hashem.

The Assembly members have an active outreach ministry, where they teach, Davidic and Israeli Dance, and fellowship with other believers. The ministry has received all parts of the States. Manu Jews and Gentiles have come to know Messiah in this Ministry. They have had visitors from every continent.
